Personally, I prefer "also" when writing. Why? Our products are used in
some thirty countries, so for a majority of my readers, English is a second
language.

In a previous incarnation, I taught English overseas, and as a result am
very sensitive to words that might throw readers for a curve. In other
words, I prefer "also" for the sake of communicating clearly.

"Too" comes in "too" many flavors in common usage, as in:

** "I do it too" (also)

** "You're too funny" (very)

** "No you're not" / "I am too!" (so)

"Also" on the other hand is ever, always, and only "also."

My two cents.
