For telecomm terminology try website whatis.com; excellent book on subject
is Newton's telecom dictionary - very easy reading of very difficult info
(when new to it).

Subject: Telecoms and translations

I'm working in the telecoms industry, for a small, French computer telephony
company, and it's giving me major headaches. I'm reasonably new to CT, and
am not familiar with all the terminology involved, but this situation is
exacerbated by the fact that the developers here keep feeding me the
terminology in French. I don't have a problem with French, but I do have a
problem with CT terminology in French which I often just cannot translate.
I'm sure there are a few CT experts out there who can tell me about an
online service for CT translations in French or other languages, or just an
English CT glossary where I can check if my hunches are correct.

Thanks for any help you can offer.
