Why buy 5.1, when you can get 5.5.6 for the upgrade price. I bought 4.0 at a used
book store in Mt. View, CA that has a <great> used software dept. (Bookbuyers),
thinking I'd need it in order to purchase the upgrade.

Not so. This is really, really weird, but the 5.5.6 "upgrade" actually is the
full, complete version--doesn't check for prior version on your hard disk; no
serial number required. Go figure--you pay $200-230 for this "upgrade," and then
the catalogs keep advertising the "full version" for $700+.

Well, anyway, I'm at peace--I <did> buy the $25 copy of 4.0, so I'm morally
superior.
