A talented technical writer with experience in the design, writing,
editing, and publishing of technical and help documentation.
As a Technical Communicator at CGN, you will be required to play a
multitude of roles ...
... as a TECHNICAL WRITER you will develop user's manuals, software
documentation, and online help for inhouse and client projects.
... as a TECHNICAL EDITOR you will work with software engineers and
other associates across the company to:
- revise and edit copy for usability and technical accuracy
- edit and proofread text for adherence to CGN corporate standards
... as a CONSULTANT you will effectively manage documentation and
multimedia projects in conjunction with CGN project managers and
clients.
... as an INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER you will work with external clients in
the design and roll out of turnkey multimedia authoring projects using a
variety of software tools.
... as a MARKETING WRITER you will work with CGN marketing, recruiting,
and HR departments to write, edit, and design promotional material for
print and the web.
SKILLS:
---------
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in a writing
discipline, strong communications skills, and ability to manage multiple
projects. Experience with Doc-to-Help, MS Office, Adobe Pagemaker,
Powerpoint, Visio, and Adobe Photoshop highly desirable.
