Don't quote me, but I believe you can edit PDF's if you have Adobe Exchange, but
not the standard Adobe Reader.

Subject: Editing a PDF document
My co-workers are adamant that editing a PDF document is possible. To my
knowledge, the only way to edit it would be to scan the document, and save it as
a tiff or txt file, and edit it from there. I'm starting to doubt my sanity as
I thought that was the purpose of PDF docs - they are not editable and are like
bitmaps.
