Notes itself is not a Doc Mgmnt tool. It has no version control and no
access control. In fact, it's replication feature can cause havoc in a
multiple-author environment.
However, Lotus does have a product called Domino.Doc which is document
management. It runs on the Domino server, which you likely have if you
have a current version of Notes.

Subject: Documentation Management via Lotus Notes
Hi, everyone -
If you 've had experience with using Lotus Notes as a
documentation management
interface, please drop me a line.
We are considering it as well as using the intranet.
What were the pluses and
minuses, the costs, and the things you'd do differently
now ?
Thanks for your help.
