to join our technical writng staff. The WJ Semiconductor Equipment
Group (SEG) is based in Scotts Valley, California, and has 18 offices
worldwide. WJ SEG is recognized by its customers and industry experts
as a worldwide technical leader in atmospheric-pressure chemical-vapor
deposition (CVD) systems used to manufacture semiconductors.
Summary of Job Duties:
Plan, organize, write, and edit publications to be used by WJ
Semiconductor Equipment Group, Inc. customers to safely install,
operate, and maintain their WJ semiconductor capital equipment.
Specific Job Duties:
Outline and define the scope of assigned writing projects. Work with
subject matter experts and support documentation (e.g., schematics,
bills of materials, design specifications) to obtain and/or verify
information needed to prepare publications. Use Adobe FrameMaker to
write and format publications. Maintain publication status information
in department database. Perform peer edits as required.
Min. Qualifications Required:
AA Degree, or equivalent, and two years professional writing
experience in technical writing environment. Able to work with PC
using Windows 95, working knowledge of word processor software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills and/or Training Desired:
Experience in the semiconductor or related industry. Experience using
Adobe FrameMaker. Experience with Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator,
Micrografx Designer, or Adobe Acrobat a plus.
