Subject:HDK, RoboHelp and Word 2000 From:Paul Kortz <Paul -dot- Kortz -at- ARAN -dot- CO -dot- UK> Date:Tue, 11 May 1999 12:34:48 +0100
Does anyone know if RoboHelp works well with Word 2000?
I asked the same question on another list about HDK and got this response
from Virtual Media:
"Currently HDK 3.4 does NOT support WinWord 2000. They [Microsoft] have
changed the way
WinWord works considerably. In WinWord 2000, every time you open a document,
a new INSTANCE of WinWord is activated. The Window menu now switches between
instances. HDK was designed to work with a SINGLE instance of WinWord. We
are still investigating a solution."
I understand the Word 2000 beta has been knocking around for a few months
now!!!!
