I'm not quite sure I understand what you are looking for but here are just a
couple of ideas off the top of my head.

After you tab to the next field, whatever happens.
After you press Tab, whatever happens.
After you Tab, whatever happens.

All of our docs have keyboard commands/strokes in different fonts and we
explain that in our conventions so that we don't have to use words like
press or type. If you are set up that way, the third one might work.
