Our experience has been that Dragon systems leads the pack in terms of
accuracy of recognition in free dictation. L&H, a close second, seems to
put out the best product for voice-operated commands to programs. I was
blown away by Dragon's Naturally Speaking. It took a long time to train the
system--about an hour of reading text--but the result was very accurate free
dictation. I really did not expect to see a commercial product like this in
my lifetime, so I was quite pleased. Dragon's "Classic" system is very
good, too, but it requires halting speech. The Classic system is probably
better for RSI purposes, because it is better at command language. Ditto
for L&H's product. These are very good products.
