First - thank you all for the information regarding EPIC vs XMetal..etc. It
was a
great help to get feed back from follow writers.
Now here is my current dilemma, although we have tech writers at my company
(ok
just 1...me) I feel we need to get things set up for a 'documentation
department' ...it's
easier to set up standards in the small stages than when we grow. I have a
lot of
good ideas, but would like to follow a 'preset plan', does anyone know of
any good
web sites or books on the subject of starting a documentation/technical pub
dept.
from the ground up?
Any help will be much appreciated.
