It is not the industry. It's that there are too many people who are
unwilling to listen to experienced managers. I don't know whether it's
the "I know more than my father" syndrome, or just a natural desire to
only associate with folks who have grown up in the industry. I have
always found it amazing that despite the shortage, few, if any companies
are willing to hire and train anyone over a certain age.
