Hi all,
Any ideas on making the text in graphics searchable in PDFs?
We currently use Visio Technical to do the diagrams (timing diagrams for
microprocessors), copy the finished Visio file to Corel 8, export as an EPS
file, link these files to the Frame (5.5.6) document, and create a PDF.
The following issues are a bit puzzling:
- Arial text isn't searchable after the conversion to EPS, but Helvetica
is.
- Rotated text isn't searchable either.
Is EPS the right file format for searchable text in PDF?
TIA
Robert
