A few days ago, I requested recommendations for a good
book for learning Adobe Acrobat.
By far the most recommended book was Adobe's Classroom
in a Book volume on Acrobat. It comes with a CD and
lesson plans. The one weakness cited was that it
doesn't discuss how to optimize graphics for PDF.
the Visual QuickStart guide to Acrobad from Peachpit
Press also got raves: in addition to being invaluable,
it's also inexpensive - a decided plus.
One person mentioned The Acrobat Bible by Ted Padova,
which is thorough but also didn't address the fuzzy
graphics question.
so ar, no one has mentioned a book that *does* answer
the question of fuzzy graphics. oh, well.
I'll probably get the visual quickstart guide - I've
never *quite* felt that the Classroom in a Book series
gave me value for money, that they were a bit *too*
light on indepth information.
