John;
Historically all people working in what the government calls "software related
fields" have not been eligible for time and a half compensation for overtime. However,
if you are in the state of California, the law was changed last year to take effect
this March. Go to the STC site and look at the link to the Contractors and Indepentant
Consultants SIG for more information on this. They have a link to the copy of the bill
for Califorinia.
