TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Actually I spent about 30 minutes rooting around that web site and found
nothing that addressed my question. It occurred to me that some helpful soul
on the Tech Writers list might be familiar with the requirements, so I
posted here. Imagine my delight when only a few minutes later I got your
information, and with a healthy dose of condescending sarcasm at no extra
cost...
It's individuals like you that make this list, which would otherwise be a
terrific resource, such pain in the arse.

Michael...of course, before you had a thousand or more of us
looking at this information, you spent less than 5 minutes with
your browser and favorite search engine. If you had, using
wording within your email, you might have come up with SEMI's
home page web site where you could find out more than youy ever
needed to know, including free abstracts and how to order the
standards.
