TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
It has always been my understanding that blue-sky/ehelp
does NOT provide a trial version of RoboHelp (Classic--
for WinHelp), but only of the HTML version of RoboHelp.
When I questioned the salesman who called me (after
I downloaded RoboHelp HTML trial version), he blithely
told me to buy it---it has a money back guarantee. I laughed
at him--in my corp, getting purchase reqs approved is
a big deal, and chances of getting it approved for a TRIAL
version were nil.
If this policy has changed, please please tell me where
I download this---I've had no luck searching their site
(but maybe it's hidden)
thanks
Jessica
