Distinguishing between a cursor & a pointer does make a difference -
especially for computer users who are just getting started. In several word
processors, for instance, the cursor can be blinking on page 1 while a user
has scrolled down to view page 4 with their pointer. New users are mystified
when they begin to type and suddenly they're back at page 1.

discuss the mouse or keyboard in either manner? What, pray-tell, are you
