You certainly are correct in stating that the early version of
WordPerfect nine was buggy. I certainly hope you are not saying that
Microsoft Word was less buggy in the initial release. You will find that
WordPerfect 9 with the latest service pack applied it is an extremely
functional and stable product. Reveal codes is not the only benefit to
using WordPerfect, if you a document is longer than four pages and you
have any amount of cross-referencing and/or paragraph numbering schemes.
While you may feel that WordPerfect is counterintuitive, most users find
just the opposite. Moreover, it is a simple matter to remap the keyboard
in WordPerfect to exactly mimic the keyboard in Microsoft Word.
