I would agree. I find these internet storage places
quite useful.

Some companies, however, use firewalls to restrict
access to these sites - or to impede uploads (I work
for such a company). We attempted to build a site like
this so me and my SME's could share files, but half
the time the firewall prevents uploading/downloading,
and we abandoned the drive except as a last resort.

I've also heard that they can be a security risk.
Some sites allow an open sharing of certain folders -
and show the other folders in the space. I've heard of
people surfing through drives looking for information,
and finding ways to hack into the non-shared folders.

And, of course, there are the usual problems with any
online activity - browsing is slow, sites are down, et
cetera.

Most importantly, very few of these internet hard
drives give you more than 50 MB of storage - or
require you to recruit others, take surveys, et
cetera, to earn more MB.

These drives are nice for personal swapping, but I'd
be very careful of using them for business purposes.
