:: I have a quick question. A client has just
:: informed our group that the template designed
:: for his suite of documents isn't warm and
:: fuzzy enough for his end users (I am not
:: kidding). He has objections to Ariel, New
:: Times Roman, Helvetica, and Garamond. I
:: checked in the archives and couldn't find
:: any references to warm fonts. :) Does anyone
:: have any ideas/suggestions? The final
:: delivery will be in Word 97 and PDF formats.
Comic Sans MS? ;)
Or just be a pain in the ass and write everything
in 9 point Haettenschweiler. ;) When confronted
that it's not warm and fuzzy enough, reply in your
best 1960's-based-comedy German accent:
"Vat do hue mean?!?
Ist za mosht varm unt fousy fonct I koult fient!!!"
Warm and fuzzy documentation... mmmmmmm... sounds
wonderful! Does it come with a lilac-scented pillow?
And the serious note:
If you use custom fonts, warm and fuzzy or not,
make sure you embed/subset them in the PDF so your
users can actually see them (increases file size).
