I'm having very little success figuring out what's wrong with my Acrobat
Distiller printer and/or my distiller and hope someone can offer some insight.
Here's the problem:
PDF files printed with my Acrobat Distiller printer and distilled with my
distiller look fine on my computer, but if anyone else tries to view the PDF
file, everything that should display as Times, Bold displays in a different
font.
Also, if anyone else tries to distill my ps file with their distiller, one of
two things happens: 1) their distiller crashes and closes, or 2) They get a
warning message that states, "Warning: Times, Bold cannot be embedded due to
licensing restrictions."
We all have the same licenses and our computers have all been set up the same
way, following a common department setup procedure. I have even un-installed
and re-installed Acrobat on my machine with the same result.
I am unable to search the Adobe site, or any other site for that matter, for
answers since our corporate web server is down.
It's definitely Monday. Please help if you can.
