Hi. I'm John. I'm a pen head, too. (Not pin head!)

I too just love fountain pens. I use a couple for everyday - my favorite is
a Lamy $24.95 special that is the best writing pen I have. I also use a
Pilot retractable (it's like a click ballpoint, except it's a fountain pen).
I have a couple of very pricey ones (including a Pelikan, an SJ Dupont, and
a Waterman Opera) for more formal occasions such as signing a deed, large
check, or important documents. I guess I have about a dozen different
fountain pens.

Not into pencils - wooden or mechanical. I even do the NY Times crossword
puzzle on Sunday with ... a fountain pen.

Call me antiquated, or even antediluvian. Atavistic even.

When I write for work, however, I use a keyboard. Logitech Wireless with
Wireless mouse.

John

I'm a fountain pen person. I use a cheap Waterford for every day and
commuting, and a Pelikan 600 for home. I also use mechanical pencils. Alas,
I'm extremely picky about my mechanical pencil. It has to be a Techniclick
by Pentel ... no other will do. I love good wooden pencils, but good ones
are so hard to find. I ordered a box of German wooden pencils a few years
back, but they're all gone now.
