Despite my earlier pooh-poohing of a "funny" job posting (where low-
budget, hick-in-the-sticks me thought that the pay was not absurd
compared to unemployment), I've started to find the postings quite
entertaining.

So, all you *fluent* German and English speakers (who live where you
can take this position), who are *also* ASE-certified mechanics
(hands-on repair experience), with specialized knowledge of European
automotive systems, what are you waiting for? ;)

The sad part is that some people probably won't apply, in the
misguided belief that the HR people involved here are sober ...

The sadder part is that German-speaking ASE-certified mechanics who
can't really write probably will apply.

(OTOH, if you are the approximately one person in the US who fits
this description, what *are* you waiting for? If they're serious,
start negotiating ...)
