What does it say about a company that once interviewed me, and then sent me a rejection letter that began with the greeting "Dear Joe" ? I assume there was an error in a mail merge, which means several others may have had mislabeled greetings. The place didn't impress me at the interview, and this was just the icing on the cake.

Part of the problem with making a mistake on a resume, is that the reader
may truly believe this reflects on the author's ability to focus, and be
meticulous.

Conversely,

How many blatent typos have you seen on job listings on Monster, Dice,
HotJobs? Yes, it's "just" an advertisement, but what does that say about
the company, the HR person who placed the ad, etc?
