I'm not really sure what you are trying to demo here.
Do you want to show how to use the sms features of a particular mobile phone?
Are you thinking that an animation of sms features won't be able to sell sms features?
If you are building an animation to show sms features think of it like a commercial.

Also, there's an sms scripting extra available for Macromedia Authorware, Director and Shockwave. You can get a free trial copy at <http://www.directxtras.com/DSMS_Home.asp?UUID=1199641&;>
I don't know what your specs are but it might be cool to have the demo be able to actually send and receive sms messages.

However, something typical has to be demoed - an sms application....
