Another idea....

As you are building your ingredient list at the top, sort it by its common,
or usual, location in a grocery store or market. For example,

Vegetables:
* 1 carrot, cut into 1" pieces
* 1 celery stalk, cut into 1" pieces
* 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped

Meat:
* 1 5 lb leg of lamb, bone in

etc., etc.


Also, if possible/plausible, have some images of the steps and not just the
finished product. Not sure what a julienned pepper looks like? Here's the
pic.
