Hi, let's see if this helps :)
The way I work is taking the screenshot and then modifing it using
Fireworks (it can be any other similar tool). Then saving it into jpg or
gif. You'll lose some clarity but they'll be less heavier.
If you can't avoid using bitmaps, ask the person making the flash file to
work with various SWF, so you can have the weight distributed and the main
document working fast.
