Try using only 8 characters or less in the file name - no spaces or punctuation. Or look at the path which must be shorter than 128 characters including the file name. Make certain you have a postscript printer selected and the correct driver. (driver may be corrupted) Try creating a ..prn on your local drive. If you can't do that, the problem is in Word or with the printer driver.

Hi guys
Well, I'm creating a pdf from a Word doc. I'm getting the following error:

There was an error found when printing the document <insert doc name> to <insert file path>.
Do you want to retry or cancel the job?

If I click retry, Word hangs and I have to close it (or it crashes). I was able to make a pdf a couple of days ago, but now I can't. I haven't installed anything new, I haven't removed any programs.
I've already:
* Verified that this happens with more than one doc
* Verified I can print the doc to a regular printer
* Changed Port settings to a different directory
* Created a new doc and tried to pdf
* Tried create a prn then convert to pdf
* Tried creating pdf in PDFMaker
* Tried creating pdf in distiller (get a different error)
Any thoughts?
