Is "doing some of his" part of your contract, or is it just something you're doing for the sake of the documents?
If it's the former, you're stuck, fulfill your contract and move on. If it's the latter, then stick to the terms of your
contract. As a contractor/consultant, I often make suggestions to my clients, but never push for them beyond
that if their initial response is unenthusiastic. It's their company and their documentation.
