TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
This is a special list. We are all professional writers. We write well, even when it's just email. This is one of the reasons why I love this list--the repartee (even down to the sig lines) is intelligent, well-enunciated, and frequently humorous. OK, so some people have disagreements, or even find themselves in violent agreement on certain topics. I know where my delete key is.
If necessary, I would be willing to live with a one post a day maximum. I've been on other lists where that was a rule.
