OK, anyone else scratching their heads while looking
at these conference locations and prices?

I just looked at the FrameUsers conference info.
Entry: $1150 (less if you can time travel back a few
months)
Lodging: $170/night
Location: Palm Beach, FL (which means food, flight,
and other expenses are gonna be a bit more than usual)

Goober, you've hit on the reason I haven't been to a major professional conference in over two years. Not STC, not SIGDOC, not FrameUsers, not WinWriters, not AIIM Document Management seminars, not project management associations, and certainly not techie conferences of any kind---the last JAVA and XML biggies I wanted to register for were >$3000 each. I pay for my own stuff, and just can't afford that.

Ach!
Ptui!
A pox on all their houses.
