I just talked with a writer from another department about that, and
she said that she just leaves things blank when she doesn't know or
can't get the answer, and then she expects that someone will "fill in
the blanks" when she sends it out for review. I, on the other hand,
think that it's a lot easier to get information from an SME if you put
your best guess down and it's wrong (everyone likes to point out when
something is wrong, right?) than it is to get them two write content
for you.
