Sounds like you have to drag these developers kicking and screaming
into the 1990s.

How about a tabbed interface... or individual modal windows? Or if you
can just get them to draw some lines around the functionally related
objects - as long as they don't forget to LABEL the boxes.

If they are so stuck on Microsoft standards, ask them to show you
exactly which Microsoft GUIs they are using to benchmark theirs!
