Simplified English is also known as Basic English. It is a basic, reduced
vocabulary set used to make translations into other languages easier.
Using this reduced vocabulary set "simplifies" the English that you are
using. You then add onto it the industry specific words to make up your
basic vocabulary set that you write in.
