Thanks everyone who sent me information and comments on the Frame --->
InDesign question.

In order to help my boss understand what we are up against with the
Frame to InDesign conversion, I gave him a short update and appended a
succinct explanation from a well spoken Framer list member. He advanced
into my cubicle with a sheaf of papers in hand reprinted from the Adobe
website and said, "This is why that guy is wrong!" and left. When I
looked down I had in hand a write-up extolling the virtues of going from
*PageMaker* to InDesign.

Thus another rathole has been thoroughly explored.

Thanks everyone for your comments, information, and support. Now I hope
we will get back to looking into database publishing from FrameMaker.
Anyone with any comments or information about that will be adored
forever or for at least 10-15 minutes of morning or afternoon break. My
current plan is to move into structured Frame --> XML for single
sourcing and find a database publishing solution that will work with
that paradigm (subject to further rathole interference from above!)

Peace & Variables,
