And don't forget those that come with far more complex pieces of machinery 
and describe complex processes.

conclusion that the profession is complex software documentation for 
developers or simplified docs for end users.

The technical fields and audience requirements for documentation are far 
more broad than software, electronics, and consumer appliances.
