I would provide them with your style guide(s), templates, and any other
reference material that you rely on and have them learn the material as a
start. Next I would give each intern a printed copy of your expectations and
your manager's expectations for the period that you will be gone and review
them with each intern so he or she knows what is expected and how it is
expected. Third, I would provide the intern with a list of coworkers to act
as resources or SMEs for the interns. Finally, I would back up all of my
documentation to an off site location the last day that I worked.

Just to clarify a couple of points:

These will be just-graduated-from-college interns and it is a paying
internship (20-25 hours, I think).

I have no choice in the matter. Company wants "interns", so that's who
they are hiring. I'm more than a little nervous as to how it will play
out and what things will look like when I return.
