As someone else (Peter Gold, I think) already said, Unstructured Frame
is an integral part of FrameMaker and won't be going away, even with
improvements to structure in future versions. I, too, use Unstructured Frame
quite successfully as a department of 1, and see no need to move to
structure at this point. I take full advantage of Frame's other single-
sourcing features, including variables, text insets, and conditional
text to produce the documents I need in the required output formats.
I wouldn't worry that Adobe will leave users of Unstructured Frame behind,
whatever changes they make to the product.
