David Shenton wondered: <<I have had my English manuals translated into many different languages after receiving the documents from the translators I forward these on to my reviewers for comments... How can I speed up the translation review process, in a few cases I have had manuals under review for 6 months with repeated emails from my self on the status of their review. This needs to be accomplished in a way as not to upset the reviewer, as I may need to use them again.>>

First, check the techwr-l archives using "review" and "reviewer" as keywords. You'll find that we've discussed this several times over the years, and that there's a good range of commentary.

Second, have a look at my site (http://www.geoff-hart.com/resources/bibliography.html) and search the bibliography using the same keywords. There's lots of useful stuff there, but it's only my considered opinion; the techwr-l archives will give you a wider collection of viewpoints, some of which may apply better to your specific situation.

Then feel free to follow up with more specific questions based on what you learned.
