the author, Mayur Polepalli, has installed FrameMaker under a Wine
variant in Ubuntu Linux.

- the latter part mentions using virtualization to run Windows itself
under Linux... if your company will allow that. You can install Frame
or other tools in that Windows VM if you absolutely need those tools
and cannot use an open-source path to doing your docs.
