TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
It's artificial obfuscation by the web industry and has nothing to do
with the task of laying out a web page, which is very simple and hasn't
changed materially since 1994 or so.
I agree no one should sell themselves short for not being up on the
latest memorized shortcuts and other tedium. It's not rocket science.
And, if you look past the FUD and hype, it's really simple but one in
ten thousand people can do that :)
