My message had the same bold red headings as Bill's. I sent a note to the
techwr-l admin and to google, asking what was going on.
Haven't heard anything, but I'm always super cautious if anything weird
happens.
I wondered if the flag message might be a phishing attempt on its own--it
had a clickable portion to "find out more".
