Cool! I opted for a variation of the prescription reading glasses
approach. An old college friend of mine is a surgeon. He told me he
has a pair of glasses he only uses in the OR, as they are optimized
for the distance between his eyes and the patient on the operating table.
I went to my optometrist (another friend), told her the story and my
request, and she prescribed a pair of glasses specifically for using
with a computer monitor. They're a slightly different prescription
than my bifocals, and they work GREAT.
