It seems that Charlotte has received a lot of good advice as a result of
this thread that ahe started. I myself especially liked Gene Kim-Eng's and
L. Portello's responses.

Be that as it may, ...task is to find a more emphatic way of instructing
the... is good but I would phrase the task in this fashion: Charlotte's
task is to develop a sure-cut, foolproof method that directly and
unambiguously communicates a certain important warning to two different
parties [the end-user and the specialist] at once.

Charlotte's document is intended for a lay person who will program hearing
aids. Since the programming will have a direct impact on function of the
hearing aid it is covered by the FDA. The programmer is also preparing part
of the instructions that go to the hearing aid user and the FDA explicitly
includes user instructions in it labeling rules.


Charlotte's task is to find a more emphatic way of instructing the hearing
