Here's what I'll be doing during the PowerPoint presentation (I know, I
know but my boss wants me to do it this way) next week:

1. Distribution of an in-house style guide to supplement GPO & Chicago for
most questions.

2. Distribution of a list of plain language suggestions (Instead of ____,
use ____).

3. A matrix of settings for styles in the template.

4. A new template with around 30 styles (including 3 specific to EndNote,
used for citations and bibliography), locked to prevent style creation.

5. An autocorrect dictionary attached to that template with entries like
!NOAA = National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

6. A request that they tell me what paragraphs they regularly cut and paste
so I can edit them before turning them into Building Blocks for insertion.
(And showing them how to use Quick Parts.)

7. A list of Word tips and tricks.

8. An open invitation to ask me any Word or editing questions.

Of course, I'll be editing their Biological Opinions, etc. but it'd be nice
to have some of it done before it lands on my desk. Hey, I can dream, can't
I?
