Buying a CMS is like migrating to DITA. If you aren't entirely sure
why you would do it, don't.

CMS = Content Management System. In the context of technical
documentation, a CMS is typically an expensive enterprise system such
as EMC Documentum or SDL Trisoft. People also use the word to refer to
SharePoint.

HAT = help authoring tool, such as MadCap Flare or Doc-To-Help
