John, good question. I checked Campbell and there is a
section on nonprint sources that uses a DIALOG file as an
example. You could probably adapt that to Works Cited
format.
You may also want to check Lester's *Writing Research
Papers* (Harper Collins 1993) that gives a BITNET example in
MLA style. It says you should provide 1)the name of the
sender; 2)the title of the message; 3)the file name that you
will need to access the message; 4)the BITNET designation
and date; and 5)the program within BITNET.
