I disagree. That post was not meant to be a piece of technical
writing. In informal writing, I like to see colorful simile and
metaphor. I've only been a technical writer for six months, but I
have had other writing interests, including letters, for years.

If I stay at this job long enough, will I start radioing back to Earth
that Gene Wolf's use of language isn't precise enough?
