OK, just _one_ more to add to this thread, with your indulgence?
I come from a rural area of Montana, where the post office/store/gas station
are in one small building, in that famous "wide spot in the road." The place
is called Pray, Montana. Now, if one blinked, one really would miss it!
Anyway, my aunt received her mail at the post office, and she received a
letter:
"Dear Mrs. W., Although you've shopped all over Pray, MT, we're sure you
haven't ...."
The cows leaning over the fence appeared amused at my aunt's laughter!
